Barrister Funmi Falana, Comrade Fidelis Ighodipe and Barrister Steve Adaramoye were on hand as resource persons to shed more light on the societal menace of Domestic Violence. Live music was supplied by Etcetera and Cool J supported by a dexterous DJ.

When Barrister Adaramoye mentioned that domestic violence is not only directed at an intimate partner but can be directed at a child from a parent, i commented that i wished my mom was at the event. With the kind of slaps she dished out when i was a kid, it was pretty obvious she took the biblical injunction, “spare the rod and spoil the child” very seriously and adhered to it strictly.

It was an evening of fun, excitement and guests were sorry to see the show come to an end.
